The Alliance

Many residents living in the Arana Gulch Watershed have taken an active role in becoming part of the solution to the many problems that ails Arana Creek.

Local residents, together with staff from the Natural Resource Conservation Service and the Resource Conservation District, defined the Alliance mission, goals and objectives.

During monthly steering committee meetings, which are open to the public, issues and concerns are discussed and solutions are found.

Topics at the meetings range from local residents requesting erosion control advice and assistance, to restoring the creek for native steelhead trout.
