Watershed Council:
The CWC is a nonprofit organization committed to the preservation,
protection and management of coastal watersheds through establishment
of community-based watershed stewardship program, education and community
outreach. Serving as watershed advocates, the Council promotes the
health of these ecosystems through stewardship, advocacy and proper
management practices.

Lorenzo River Restoration Institute:
The San Lorenzo River Restoration Institute (SLRRI) was
formed to advance community efforts to re-establish streamside
habitat, bring back fish and bird life, and improve recreation
areas in the San Lorenzo River Watershed, while converting the
river from a neglected flood hazard to an economic asset in Santa
Cruz and the San Lorenzo Valley.

of the Harbor Group
The Friends of the
Harbor Group is a volunteer organization of recreational and commercial
harbor users, as well as local harbor residents and businesses, whose
purpose is to advocate and educate to the general public and government
agencies the importance of keeping the Santa Cruz Harbor open, and
maintaining safe, continual access to the Monterey Bay and beyond.

governmental agencies, environmental consulting firms, watershed organizations,
and the general public to provide objective and scientifically sound
